About The Ottawa Valley Roundup
The Ottawa Valley Roundup Radio Show first aired on February 16, 2002, and was a 4 hour show featuring the album of 2 ladies from the Wilno/Barry's Bay area including Pat Jeffries and Pam Norris, with a group called Fold and a 3 part female harmony group called Close Enough, with a great show closing number called How Great Thou Art.
OVRU Radio Show features the fiddle song Timbertrain as a theme song by Brian Hebert off the album Timbertrain. Also, most of the very first fiddle tunes to play on Ottawa Valley Roundup were selected off the album Fiddle Storm, by Brian Hebert. The sounds of April Verch, Brent Quade, Mac Beattie, Pat Moore, the Backwoodsmen and more, on a local radio station in Quebec, Canada.
On The Ottawa Valley Roundup we play only the musicians of the Ottawa Valley and surrounding area; featuring the true culture of the Ottawa Valley. OVRU is a special showcase show to help with the promotion, marketing and sales of Ottawa Valley Musicians. We hope that you'll support Valley music with us!
